Our Team
Meet the clinicians behind WMI Psychiatry. Every member of our team is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and works collaboratively to ensure patients receive the highest standard of assessment, treatment and ongoing support.
Dr James Glass
Medical Director
Dr James Glass is the Medical Director of WMI Psychiatry and currently works as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Bury CAMHS, where he serves as the Lead Consultant for the service within Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Birmingham, is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, is Section 12 approved under the Mental Health Act and holds an Honorary Clinical Lecturer position at the University of Central Lancashire.
Dr Glass has a particular clinical interest in neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD and autism, alongside the assessment and treatment of a broad range of mental health conditions. Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in medical education, teaching medical students and junior doctors and contributing to service development.
Dr Glass founded WMI Psychiatry because he believes that everyone should have access to high-quality specialist mental healthcare delivered with kindness, compassion and respect. At the heart of WMI Psychiatry is a commitment to ensuring that every patient and family feels genuinely listened to and supported, with personalised care, clear and transparent pricing and enough time to fully understand each individual's needs.

Case Workers
Each member of our team has been selected not only for their professional qualifications and experience but also for their commitment to providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred care.
Rather than viewing difficulties through the lens of a single profession, our multidisciplinary approach allows us to bring together different perspectives to build a more complete understanding of each individual.
How We Work Together
Collaboration is central to the way we practise.
Many private clinics rely on a single clinician to complete every stage of an assessment. While this approach may be appropriate in some situations, we believe that patients often benefit from the combined knowledge and experience of a multidisciplinary team.
Our clinicians work closely together, sharing their expertise where appropriate and discussing complex presentations to ensure that important information is not missed. This collaborative approach promotes consistency, supports high clinical standards and helps us deliver thoughtful, balanced and evidence-based care.
Every member of our team works within their professional competencies, receives regular supervision and participates in ongoing professional development to ensure that our patients receive the highest possible standard of care.
Meet the Team
Our multidisciplinary team brings together professionals with expertise across psychiatry, ADHD, autism, child development, physical health and psychological therapies.
Although each clinician has their own area of specialist knowledge, every member of our team shares the same commitment to providing kind, personalised and evidence-based care.
