This pathway is designed for individuals where there are concerns relating to ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or broader mental health difficulties, particularly where there is diagnostic complexity or overlap between different presentations. It provides a structured, comprehensive assessment to ensure that developmental history, current functioning, emotional wellbeing and symptoms across different settings are carefully explored.
By considering neurodevelopmental and mental health difficulties within a single integrated pathway, this approach reduces duplication, shortens overall timelines and avoids the need for multiple separate assessments.
This pathway is particularly suitable where symptoms overlap, where previous assessments have been inconclusive, or where a clear and integrated understanding of an individual’s strengths, difficulties and support needs is required.

Follow up consultations are used for ongoing review, medication titration and longer-term psychiatric support. These appointments allow time to monitor progress, adjust treatment where necessary and ensure that care remains safe and effective.
When medication is being initiated or adjusted, appointments are typically booked every four weeks until the dose is stable. Once stability has been achieved, reviews are generally required every three to six months, depending on age and clinical indication.

Discussion of side effects and appetite or sleep concerns
Review of physical observations when required

Weight review consultations are offered for patients who are otherwise stable on ADHD medication but are experiencing appetite suppression or concerns regarding weight. These focused appointments allow close monitoring while avoiding the need for a full review consultation.
Weight reviews are usually arranged monthly until appetite and weight have stabilised. Once stable, patients return to the standard three to six monthly follow up schedule.

Our parent and carer workshops are designed to provide practical guidance, support and shared understanding for those caring for children and young people with emotional, behavioural or neurodevelopmental difficulties. Workshops are typically delivered in small groups, creating a supportive space to learn, reflect and share experiences. Fees are charged per workshop or as a short programme, depending on the format.
