What Happens After a New Enquiry
Initial review of your enquiry – We may request brief additional information.
Pathway guidance – We confirm the most appropriate assessment or consultation type.
Appointment allocation – You receive booking confirmation and any required forms.
For diagnostic pathways, questionnaires and supporting documentation are sometimes required before the first appointment.
Existing Patients
If you are already under the care of the clinic, you may book:
30 or 60 minute follow up consultations
Weight review consultations
Physical observation appointments

If you are unsure which type of review you require, please contact the administrative team before booking.
Cancellations
We require two working days’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be chargeable in line with our terms and conditions.
Urgent or Emergency Support
WMI Psychiatry is not an emergency service.
If there is immediate concern about safety:

Attend your nearest A&E department
Contact your local NHS crisis service
If risk increases between scheduled appointments, please contact us and we will respond as soon as possible within our normal working hours.
